ATLantic City Annual Rec. Gambling Excursion (ATLARGE) ATLARGE stands for ATLantic city Alt.Rec.Gambling Excusion and is an annual gathering of poker enthusiasts of the ARG community. Other ARG events include FARGO, EMBARGO and BARGE. The event has been held at various Atlantic City casinos. It features several tournaments, live games, and a banquet. The poker tournaments are low buy-in, yet highly competitive. They are also friendly and good-natured. In fact I think I am either the 2nd or 3rd place for the all around lifetime. I’ve been playing ATLARGE since 1996 and BARGE since about 1998.
