The HARDROCK SEMINOLE CASINO, MIAMI is always great to play at. During the ‘Holiday’ period there are always a high number of Cash Tables operating between 11.00 am – 1.00 am and also some good F.O. Tournaments on.

Just returned to the U.K. after playing 3 of the WSOP side events.

I acquired quite a number of new Card Guards and hope to have the photo images loaded within the next 2-3 weeks.

APRIL 2012

One of Ireland’s Greatest Tournaments takes place this month. The Paddy Power Irish Open, held in Dublin, is a Tourament well worth attending. Unfortunately, I am unable to make it but I am sure that all of you who attend will have a most enjoyable time. Good Luck!

JANUARY 2012

Just returned back to the U.K. after playing the AUSSIE MILLIONS at the CROWN in Melbourne.

During the run-up to the Main Event they have Daily Satellites, in  3 different foremats i.e. Phase 1 A$ 65.00, Phase 2 A$250.00 and Phase 3 A$ 1,100.00. Approx. Ex. Rate £1.00 = A$ 1.43. I am pleased to say that I won a  Phase 3 Satellite.

MAIN EVENT Starting Stack 30,000 Chips. Managed to get up to 65,000 by Level 6 on Day 1 but took a bad hit and finished Day 1 with 33,000. Day 2, Level 11 and my Set on the Flop wasn’t good enough to see me continue. Maybe we should come up with NEW RULES so that the RIVER Card no longer exists!

I have to say that it is a Great Tournament to play. I met a nice bunch of people and saw some of the most Attractive Female Spectator’s and Player’s that I have come across on my Poker travels.

I managed 16th place in one of the side events.

Re. CASH TABLES – The Australians have come up with a NEW Concept of playing TURBO Cash Games. If you do not make a decison on your play within 5 seconds, a 10 Second timer is put on. You can buy an extra 30 seconds time for A$ 1.00 and a further 30 seconds for A$ 1.00. The A$ 2.00 goes to the winner of the Hand. It certainly speeds up the game.

During the Aussie Millions, there are about 50 Cash Table’s running from 11.00 a.m. every day.

First time I Played Main Event. I had J Q Clubs

Flop K 8 4 Clubs, Turn 7 Diamonds

We are BOTH All In on Flop. He Turns over Pocket Kings, giving him a SET on the Flop, to my FLUSH.

A 4 Hearts on the River, gives him a BOAT. Game over for me.
