Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) Championship Event in Las Vegas – Season One

“The HPO Championship Event was a huge success at the fabulous M RESORT Las Vegas. Throughout our various properties, we held qualifying Events that sent over 200 players to Las Vegas with a seat in our Main Event. The Friday of the Event, another 400 plus registered giving us a grand total of 631 participants. This inflated the already guaranteed prize pool of $500,000 to $1,400,000. The field was whittled down to the Final 10 players. They all received the Official Hollywood Poker Open Jackets and play began. One by one players busted out and by the end, we had Ana Marquez, our first ever Hollywood Poker Open Champion.”
